Adopt a Family

Posted on Dec 1 2016 - 10:35am

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to send out a reminder about the Adopt A Family and what we still have to do. On Monday, December the 5th, we will be wrapping all the gifts that we have for our 2 families. We still are taking donations for the families and I would like to ask all of you that if you have clothes, a toy, or even money, please email me to let me know so we can write down what you are bringing. There will be pizza provided. I also want to ask if everyone could bring wrapping paper, tape, and scissors.  I hope everyone can lend a hand to help out with this important holiday community service project.

2017 Scout Dues

Posted on Dec 1 2016 - 10:34am

Dear Troop 352 Families

With the Troop Recharter quickly approaching at the end of the year, we are once again starting our annual dues drive.  Dues will remain unchanged from last year at $60 per scout, or $45 per scout if a family has more than one boy in the Troop.  For those new families, Recharter is the annual process that maintains Troop 352 as an active unit within Boy Scouts of America.  Last year’s recharter fees were more than $2000 so your dues cover this fee for each of the boys.

Parish Manger Set Up Friday 11/25 at 11:00AM at Notre Dame church

Posted on Nov 20 2016 - 8:47am

Hello Scouts,

As part of our service to the parish, we have been setting up the Parish Manger for many years.  A few years ago, George Koury built a beautiful new manger as his Eagle Service Project.  With Advent upon us, it is time to set it up.  We need help to set up the manger next Friday at 11AM.  Please try to make it.  It should take no more than 1 hour and can be used for your advancement service hours.  Thanks

Hello Scout families,

We were given 2 families (Beaumont and Alvarez) to purchase for during this year's Lehigh University Adopt a Family initiative.  As I mentioned in my email from last week, we were able to shop at Marshalls for 3 of the Alvarez children with your generous support.  We were able to spend about $120/child and were able to get them most of the basic clothing items.

Thank you and a Message for All

First of all, on behalf of Mr. Firth, Mr. Kanaskie, Mr. Dashe and me ... Thank You to all who planned, purchased, conducted and cleaned up from Monday night's Court of Honor.  I know that we were all very touched.  There is no monetary benefit to Scouting, but we do receive "Paychecks" from time to time and all of the commentary and accolades on Monday were exceptional, but most especially those comments from OUR Scout sons, both past and present, were our "Paychecks"!!  So Thank You All!  Speaking for myself, I have always gotten more out of Scouting than I feel I put in.
